Driving Directions

Here are driving directions to our ceremony location!

From Hanover College:

Coming out of the college, take a left on 56.

A few miles outside of Hanover, you'll come to a junction with 62 and a sign that conveniently says Louisville :) Take that left turn.

Take 62 for about 30 miles. When it expands to 4 lanes, start watching for a junction with 265. The on ramp for 265 is at a stoplight and will be a right turn. Take it.

About 4 miles up there will be exits for Interstate 65. Take the one for 65-South.

Wade through about 6 miles of construction. On the bridge, you will want to be in the far right lane (the one that is an exit for 64 and 71). Take this exit.

The exit immediately splits: 71 or 64 East (Lexington) to the left and 64 West (St. Louis) to the right. Head left, toward Lexington.

Get into the right lane (the 64 East lane)

Take 64 to the Hurstbourne Pkwy. exit. Hurstbourne is just past the Watterson expressway exits. 64E will expand to 6 lanes; this is your cue to start watching for the exit.

Follow signs for Hurstbourne--South.

3 lights up (not counting the one at the end of your exit ramp) you'll take a left, onto Taylorsville Rd. (There's a Shogun at the corner if you need a landmark)

First light on Taylorsville, take a right onto Six Mile Ln.

Take Six Mile to its end, where it intersects with Stony Brook at a stopsign; take a left.

At the first light, take a left onto Galene Dr.

Look for Ethelwood Dr. on your right; this is where you need to turn. There's no stopsigns or lights there, but it isn't far.

Take Ethelwood to the first stop sign; take a left onto Sue Helen Dr.

The church is on your right!

If you need to come to Kimberly's family's house directly, follow the "to the ceremony" directions all the way up to Ethelwood. Instead of turning onto Sue Helen Dr. from Ethelwood, go straight through that intersection. At the end of Ethelwood, take a right onto Willowwood. My street address is 9112. It's on the left, in the "No Outlet" cul-de-sac at the end of the street.

From 65-S or 64-E: Follow the directions from Hanover. You can figure it out :).

From Owensboro: Those of you coming from Owensboro know most of the way already! Just come like you're coming straight to the Ellis house, but instead of turning left when you get to Willowwood, take a right. Then take the second street on your left, which is Ethelwood. At the first stopsign take a right onto Sue Helen. St. Edward is on your right!

From anywhere in Louisville: see the directions from Owensboro. If you don't know the way to the Ellis house, contact Kimberly directly.
